My Muslim friend, the truth about Jesus

God told John the Baptist about His Son and the Holy Spirit, giving a perfect picture of the Holy Trinity. In the same way, the same picture is reflected not once but twice in the Qu'ran when God quoted as saying:"And We gave Jesus son of Mary the clear signs and confirmed him with the Holy Spirit." (The Cows 87).
Also, the verse in the Surah of the Women 171 described Jesus saying,"His Word that He committed to Mary, and a spirit for Him".
If we study those two Qu'ran verses, we find that the Speaker was God, addressing His Word and supporting Him with His Holy Spirit-no prophet ever was given that privilege. This is a great assurance that Qu'ran did not deviate from reiterating the Gospel's teaching, confirming the reality of the Holy Trinity;i.e, God the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit.

John 1:33

And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’

The history of Anti-Semitism

The Jews have a long history of Anti-Semitism.  I don't like saying this but this is the truth.
The church needs to love and support Israel but the early church didn't do what the Lord wanted for them.
You can read the history of the church having Anti-Semitism. I don't believe this was wise but history don't lie and doesn't represent the teaching of the Bible.
You can read the dialogue with Trypho and Justin Martyr, the era was 100-165 A.D.

My Muslim friends, this is about Jesus and John

John knew that he was born before Christ. That means that he was physically older than Christ, and his ministry started before Christ's; yet John testified that Christ was in existence before him. But there was no way for Jesus to be before John unless Jesus existed in eternity before time. Thus John confirmed the fact of Christ's deity.

John 1:30

 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’

The New Testament doesn't promote Anti-Semitism

Jewish people have been persecuted in the name of Jesus and don't want to have anything to do with Christianity.
This fact is true. There have been some misguided people that had hurt the Jews.
If a person follows the Lord Jesus then that person needs to realize that God is not done with the Jews.
There are many non-Jews that follow the Lord Jesus and a small amount of Messianic Jews.
There are blessing upon anyone that blesses Israel. The Jews are not perfect but they need respect.
The bad news is that anti-Semitic acts are increasing world-wide thirty percent in the year of 2012.
The people that know the Lord Jesus needs to reach out to the Jews in love. There is no quick help but if a person prays and loves then God can work on the Jewish people.

Genesis 12:1-3

 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

² “I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
    and you will be a blessing.
³ I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.”

Romans 11:1

 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
