The hatred of the Jews by some people

I believe that in the past, there were some true believers that caused harm upon the Jews and there were non-believers that caused harm unto to the Jews, too.
The church should support the Jews and be their friends. Many Jews will be stubborn but the Born Again people needs to be patient with Israel.
The church of the Middle Ages from the 5th to the 19th Centuries had some bad history towards the Jews.
I believe that there were true believers and false believers that persecuted the Jews so many Jews think the cross of Jesus is anti-Semitic.
The true believers needs to realize this point so they need to pray and love the Chosen People.
If you like to read history, all these movement had anti-Semitic feeling in a small or great manner.
Here are the list if you like to read. The Romans Catholic Church; the Crusades, the charge of ritual murder, the abominable distinctive dress, Bernard of Clairvaux (1090-1153 A.D.), the Black Death of Europe (1447-1450 A.D.), Compulsory attendance at preaching sessions, the ghetto, the Spanish Inquisition and Expulsion of the Jews in 1492 A.D., the Chemlicki massacres from 1648 A.D. to 1658 A.D.
I hate to say this but Martin Luther was a great man of God but he started to hate the Jews during the Reformation. He did a lot of good work but being anti-Jew wasn't good.
And read about the Debates. Here are an long list of history that I am not going to brag to other people.
I believe reaching the Jewish people are hard because they are stubborn but the Holy Spirit can do great things.

The New Testament doesn't promote Anti-Semitism

Jewish people have been persecuted in the name of Jesus and don't want to have anything to do with Christianity.
This fact is true. There have been some misguided people that had hurt the Jews.
If a person follows the Lord Jesus then that person needs to realize that God is not done with the Jews.
There are many non-Jews that follow the Lord Jesus and a small amount of Messianic Jews.
There are blessing upon anyone that blesses Israel. The Jews are not perfect but they need respect.
The bad news is that anti-Semitic acts are increasing world-wide thirty percent in the year of 2012.
The people that know the Lord Jesus needs to reach out to the Jews in love. There is no quick help but if a person prays and loves then God can work on the Jewish people.

Genesis 12:1-3

 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
    and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.”
