Tonight I can't sleep
My mind keeps ticking
Wondering about tomorrow

On bed praying to You
You take away my lonely state
Content in You may it all be

Reading the Bible
The latest podcast crazy
You are the source of truth

I just examined Proverbs 11:8
The righteous man is rescued from trouble
And it comes on the wicked instead

I desire to be right before
I know that I accepted You
So help me live for You

Sin seems really cool
But the snake will blow
The poison in the vein

If I am pure
I will see You
Cleanse my soul

When will I see You
Eye to eye in the sky
Where bliss is forever
