There are many reasons that many Jews are resistant towards the gospel of Jesus.
They have beliefs hat make it hard for Jewish people to accept Jesus as their Messiah and Savior.
Many Jewish teachers teaches the Moshiach (Messiah) will come if Israel repented in a single day, or if Israel observed a single Shabbat properly.
They have other thoughts like if Israel observed two Shabbats in a row properly or in a generation that is totally innocent or totally guilty.
Here is another thought that many Jews have, the Moshiach will come in a generation that loses hope; in a generation where children are totally disrespectful towards their parents and elders or he will come before the Jewish year 6,000 which is over 200 years from now.
Jesus fulfilled many prophecies that was observed. The Messiah/Moshiach will be a descendant of King David according to 2 Samuel 7:12-17 and when we read Luke 1:32-33, we see that Jesus is the Messiah.
The Messiah will come from the city of David, Bethlehem according to Micah 5:2 and we read in in Matthew 2:1-6, that Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
The Jews thought that Jesus would be the conquering King to beat down the Romans Empire. They forgot to read that Jesus is the conquering King in his second coming and not his first coming. His first coming would be a suffering King when he redeemed the country of Israel and the world.

Alcohol in the Bible and the Koran, my Muslim friend
I am familiar with Islam and I know that people that believe in the Koran should not drink alcohol. I know that you might have a problem with Jesus in the second chapter of the book of John. Jesus made water into wine.
The water of the day was bad so people drink wine because it was purified water. It killed anything that would cause a person to get sick. I believe that people have good water to drink so people should not drink alcohol but it is a sin to get drunk. I say don't get near the edge and you will be okay.
Again, some Muslims may object saying: "How can the Messiah of God make wine and offer it to the people to drink? God has prohibited wine in the Torah, and the Qur'an repeated that prohibition in the Table 90 and The Cow 216, saying: 'O believers, wine and arrow-shuffling, idols and divining-arrows are an abomination, some of Satan's work; so avoid it; haply so you will prosper."
In the meantime, you will find that the Qur'an is promising the believers not just one river but rivers of wine as a delight to the drinkers.
The Qur'an says: "This is the similitude of Paradise which God-fearing have been promised; therein are rivers of water uninstalling, rivers of milk unchanging in flavor and rivers of wine- a delight to the drinkers. (Mohammed 15; Man 15; Man ; The Stiners 25).
Here, we see curiosity peaks and many questions are being raised: "how did the Qur'an prohibit the wine here on earth but make it available to Paradise inhabitants in enormous quantities, flowing as rivers to drink without end?
Does the Qur'an mean that God prohibits wine here on earth but He allows it to the Paradise inhabitants so that they can get drunk in heaven?"
The answer is clear. The Holy God prohibits wine and drunkenness on earth, does not allow, in His pure heaven, drunkenness or any agent that causes drunkenness. If wine were found in heaven, it will be that good wine that by nature has nothing to do with drunkenness. In the same thought, we find Christ, in chapter two in the book of John, not performing a miracle to offer the people the wine that cause them to lose their memory, their, their balance, and their self-respect but rather He made that other kind of wine, the good wine. He made that wine that was a delight unto the drinkers who, once they tasted it, the influence of the earthly wine evaporated and their minds were made alert; consequently, they rose up asking about that good wine that was really a delight to the drinkers.

The marriage, my Muslim Friend
The Lord Jesus Christ honored the marriage by his presence at the wedding ceremonies at Cana. In this sense, marriage in the real Christian circles is taken more seriously than in other religions.
First of all, the Christian marriage is not a mere contract that can be annulled or rescinded whenever the husband or the wife wants. In real Christianity, the marriage is a lifelong commitment and union, where the two become one before God, for life.."for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."
Such marriage is based upon trust, love and faithfulness, by both parts, the husband and the wife. In Christian marriages, the husband is expected to love his wife as Christ loved the church and died for it, and the wife is expected to honor her husband and follow his lead as the spiritual leader of their household. The husband is not considered better nor the wife inferior, but rather, both are equal in Christ. Of course there can be tense moments, misunderstanding and fiction, but a Christian couple work seriously in order to iron out their differences, keep their vows and make sure that their marriage work. Unfortunately, wherever you see divorces among so-called Christian, you know then that they are not living the real Christian life, and they will surely give an account before the Judgement Seat of Christ.

Opposition from family and friends within the Jewish families
There are struggles in every life that lives upon this earth. We have all type of trouble. When a person have faith in Jesus then they will be hated.
There are many reasons that many Jewish people don't have faith in Jesus as their Messiah.

They have been death threats upon the Messianic Jews which could lead up to physical attacks.
There are many Jews that don't believe for these reasons.
I am praying that the Jewish people spiritual eyes would be awoken. I pray for the Jews, everyday.

The King of mankind, my Muslim friend
It's far from it that the Christians believe that God married a woman from He begot a son in a sexual, congenital birth, after the manner of men. But the Sonship of Christ is a spiritual, sublime Sonship wherein the Son emanated from the Father in the beginning:i.e, in eternity before time. El-Ghazzali, one of the most famous and greatest Muslim scholars, excelled as he described the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, in his book THE BEAUTIFUL REPLY, saying: "The Christians believe that the Self of the Creator, the Most High, is one in essence, but it has considerations. When the existence is considered not contingent on anything else, then it is the absolute existence, and that is what they call the Person of the Father. But if it was considered contingent on another existence, as science is contingent on the existence of the world, such is the definite existence, and that is what they call the Person of the Son, or the Word. And when it is considered contingent on the power of His reasoning, emanating from Him, then, that also is a definite existence, and they call it the Person of the Holy Spirit, because the Self of the Creator is reasoned through Him."
In a word, El-Ghazzali, the well-known Muslim scholar, proved his in-depth and genuine understanding of the Holy Trinity, and he expressed it grandiloquently and genuinely, proving that the son emanated from the Father, and that He was equal to Him. All those attributes that are distinctive of Christ in the Bible and the Qur'an are but the solid proof clear evidence of Christ's deity.

The modern period of Anti-Jewish movements
I don't like writing about the anti-Jewish movements but I write about truth. I will talk about some of the modern movements that hurts Israel. If you like history then you can read more about these movements.
There was the Russian Pogroms, the Holocaust, the Middle East Wars, the Infitada, the terrorism and treats that people hear on the news when Israel deals with Palestinians, Hamas, Hexbollah, Al Qaeda, Iran, European Union, Russia, England and the United States. And I can't forget about the United Nations.
Israel will help the wounded soldiers of the other side and help the opposition but the other side will not help Israel. They want to destroy every Jew.
The world will pressure Israel to give up land that would be dumb in the name of peace. If this country did that then there would be no Israel.
I like what the Prime Minister of Israel said, "We are guilty until proven guilty." Benjamin Netanyahu is and will be pressured to give away "Land for Peace", the Palestinians and Hamas want to kill and have no peace.
But I have good news for the Jews. God of the Bible is not done with them. There will be a day when they will acknowledge their Messiah.
I believe that the follower of Jesus needs to pray and love upon the Jewish people. There is hope in the Lord.

My muslim friend, the name above all names
Jesus was uniquely singled out in he Qur'an as the "Christ" or the
"Messiah". According to the Prophets and the Torah, the bearer of that
prophetical title was anointed by God to occupy a very high position,
near-stationed to God, that no human is worthy of occupying. And Jesus
as the Messiah was confirmed to the
world as the Messiah who is the Savior of the World, and to fulfill the
prophecies: "To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name
whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins" (Acts
10:43). Thus Christ was distinguished from all the prophets, was exalted
above every name and will be the judge of the world.

The church should support the Jews and be their friends. Many Jews will be stubborn but the Born Again people needs to be patient with Israel.
The church of the Middle Ages from the 5th to the 19th Centuries had some bad history towards the Jews.
I believe that there were true believers and false believers that persecuted the Jews so many Jews think the cross of Jesus is anti-Semitic.
The true believers needs to realize this point so they need to pray and love the Chosen People.

My Muslim friend, the truth about Jesus
God told John the Baptist about His Son and the Holy Spirit, giving a perfect picture of the Holy Trinity. In the same way, the same picture is reflected not once but twice in the Qu'ran when God quoted as saying:"And We gave Jesus son of Mary the clear signs and confirmed him with the Holy Spirit." (The Cows 87).
Also, the verse in the Surah of the Women 171 described Jesus saying,"His Word that He committed to Mary, and a spirit for Him".
If we study those two Qu'ran verses, we find that the Speaker was God, addressing His Word and supporting Him with His Holy Spirit-no prophet ever was given that privilege. This is a great assurance that Qu'ran did not deviate from reiterating the Gospel's teaching, confirming the reality of the Holy Trinity;i.e, God the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit.

The Jews have a long history of Anti-Semitism. I don't like saying this but this is the truth.
The church needs to love and support Israel but the early church didn't do what the Lord wanted for them.
You can read the history of the church having Anti-Semitism. I don't believe this was wise but history don't lie and doesn't represent the teaching of the Bible.

My Muslim friends, this is about Jesus and John
John knew that he was born before Christ. That means that he was physically older than Christ, and his ministry started before Christ's; yet John testified that Christ was in existence before him. But there was no way for Jesus to be before John unless Jesus existed in eternity before time. Thus John confirmed the fact of Christ's deity.

This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’

The New Testament doesn't promote Anti-Semitism
Jewish people have been persecuted in the name of Jesus and don't want to have anything to do with Christianity.
This fact is true. There have been some misguided people that had hurt the Jews.
If a person follows the Lord Jesus then that person needs to realize that God is not done with the Jews.
There are many non-Jews that follow the Lord Jesus and a small amount of Messianic Jews.
There are blessing upon anyone that blesses Israel. The Jews are not perfect but they need respect.
The bad news is that anti-Semitic acts are increasing world-wide thirty percent in the year of 2012.
The people that know the Lord Jesus needs to reach out to the Jews in love. There is no quick help but if a person prays and loves then God can work on the Jewish people.

Pero no tenían conocimiento
