Self-control

We all lack self-control
While the Son offers it to us
But we will choice sin over Jesus

We as mankind are controlled by our lust
We lay around and play around
So cause issues in the ghetto to the rich places

We do not know the truth
So we break all the rules
There is no trust at all

We reject the Bible
Then a shooting then
We say that we are basically good

I look into my heart's desire
I am wicked without self-control
If I renounce the Lord Jesus

We are dogs chasing their tails
Which is an impossible task
Are you doing this now?

Drugs are huge in the world
People have empty souls
So smoke that or inject this

Drugs will not help with self-control
There is not cure for drug addiction
Only Jesus will heal

People hide in alcohol
We need to surrender to the Son
Then we will have self-control

This is common sense
But you know the statement
It is not so common

Are you common
Or you not common
Follow the Savior

A famous saying of an True Leader

The Spirit of Christ, which was in the prophets, testifies in this psalm, clearly and fully, the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. We have a sorrowful complaint of God's with drawings. This may be applied to any child of God, pressed down, overwhelmed with grief and terror. Spiritual desertions are the saints' sorest afflictions; but even their complaint of these burdens is a sign of spiritual life, and spiritual senses exercised. To cry our, My God, why am I sick? why am I poor? savors of discontent and worldliness. But, Why hast thou forsaken me? is the language of a heart binding up its happiness in God's favor. This must be applied to Christ. In the first words of this complaint, he poured out his soul before God when he was upon the cross, Mt 27:46. Being truly man, Christ felt a natural unwillingness to pass through such great sorrows, yet his zeal and love prevailed. Christ declared the holiness of God, his heavenly Father, in his sharpest sufferings; nay, declared them to be a proof of it, for which he would be continually praised by his Israel, more than for all other deliverances they received. Never any that hoped in thee, were made ashamed of their hope; never any that sought thee, sought thee in vain. Here is a complaint of the contempt and reproach of men. The Savior here spoke of the abject state to which he was reduced. The history of Christ's sufferings, and of his birth, explains this prophecy.

Psalm 22:1-10

1My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish?
2My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.
3Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;
you are the one Israel praises.
4In you our ancestors put their trust;
they trusted and you delivered them.
5To you they cried out and were saved;
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.
6But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by everyone, despised by the people.
7All who see me mock me;
they hurl insults, shaking their heads.
8“He trusts in the Lord,” they say,
“let the Lord rescue him.
Let him deliver him,
since he delights in him.”
9Yet you brought me out of the womb;
you made me trust in you, even at my mother’s breast.
10From birth I was cast on you;
from my mother’s womb you have been my God.

Does laws make an difference in alcohol?

We make laws to make things better. I always hear about the gun bans and this will stop all the violence. I will go to the same approach that some people did in the last century.

There were people that banned alcohol because it was evil. They thought that the ban would make the culture better but many people made their own alcohol and got rich.

I see their point. Every 30 minutes someone dies in the U.S. is killed by an drunk driver.
In 2006, an estimated 17,602 people died in alcohol-related crashes.
Not all drunk-driving ends in murder. Every 24 hours 1,620 people are injured or maimed by a drunk driver.

Let's look at the death in Wars since WW1. There have been 594,161 that was killed and since WW1, there have been 1.7 million that been killed in drunk-driving accidents.

In 2007, there were 4,013 that were killed in Iraq. There were 17,600 that were killed by drunk-drivers.

I see the reason why the people wanted to ban alcohol but the idea was great on paper but it failed.

If we ban guns then people will kill with other items.

In the UK in 2007, there were  37,443 knives offenses. London had 12,980 knife crimes.

In the UK, knife crime across the county has risen 21% in 12 months up to September 2017, according to the quarterly, figures released by the Office of National Statics.

Stabbing in London are the highest in 6 years, 23% from the previous years.

Like many people that see issues with the United States have with guns, the UK have the same issues with knifes.

London Mayor, Sadiq Khan wants to ban knifes because knifes kill people.

I will sum up what many people are saying and I will bring the matters  to its logical  conclusion  on people that want to ban the guns, alcohol and knives.

If you ban the guns, alcohol and knife then everything will be alright with the culture. That is an common thought in the culture.

Alcohol became more of an problem when the United States banned it.
People kill with knives in the UK instead of guns and people are afraid to go outside because of knives.

We like to sue the gun makers, alcohol maker and knife makers because they are evil in many people eyes. So I will explain more on this topic.

The issue is that mankind is not as good as we think we are. We need morals and no matter what laws you passed, people will abuse beer and kill people with their cars.

People can hunt for food with their guns and some people will kill others with that same gun. So it goes back to morals.

People can make trails and cut up food with knives but always kill people with them.

So we need to get back to morals and without moral nothing will stop these horrible events. We need one truth for everyone and do it. Jesus needs to live in everyone's hearts.

The best view point in life

The psalmist teaches to look forward with faith, and hope, and prayer upon what God would further do. The success with which God blessed David, was a type of the total overthrow of all Christ's enemies. Those who might have had Christ to rule and save them, but rejected him and fought against him, shall find the remembrance of it a worm that dies not. God makes sinners willing by his grace, receives them to his favor, and delivers them from the wrath to come. May he exalt himself, by his all-powerful grace, in our hearts, destroying all the strong-holds of sin and Satan. How great should be our joy and praise to behold our Brother and Friend upon the throne, and for all the blessings we may expect from him! yet he delights in his exalted state, as enabling him to confer happiness and glory on poor sinners, who are taught to love and trust in him.

Psalm 21:7-13
For the king trusts in the Lord;
    through the unfailing love of the Most High
    he will not be shaken.
Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies;
    your right hand will seize your foes.
When you appear for battle,
    you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace.
The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath,
    and his fire will consume them.
10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth,
    their posterity from mankind.
11 Though they plot evil against you
    and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.
12 You will make them turn their backs
    when you aim at them with drawn bow.
13 Be exalted in your strength, Lord;
    we will sing and praise your might.

Does an American Citizen have a constitutional right to own a gun?

The Second Amendment says, "A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Some say it only protects the state militia and not individuals. This was the position of four Supreme Court Justices in the case of District of Columbia and Heller in 2008. This was huge for gun ownership.
I have research this topic because of the loud media talk of this subject.
I have come to believe that the Second Amendment was to secure an individual right to bear arms.
Go back to the case of District of Columbia and Heller. The five of nine Supreme Court Justices had the correct position in my thought.
Let's first look at the Second Amendment. We read this, "The right of the people." You see the right of the people not the militia or a state government. The phrase of "the right of the people", comes up a few times in the Constitution. The First Amendment, the right of the people peacefully assemble and petition the government. The Fourth Amendment is to protect people from unreasonable searches.
Why, then if the Authors of the Constitution felt so strongly about "the right of the people" to own guns did they include language about "a well-regulated militia?"
These words are called an Justification Clause. A Justification Clause explains why it being secured but the Operative Clause explains what right is being secured. In this case, the right for the people to have guns. And what was the word "militia" understood to mean at the time?
The Militia Act of 1792 define all white males 18-45 years old. If it was written today, every color, people and women would be included. It would be the National Guard in today terms.
What did it mean for the militia "to the security of a free state?"
People who are against guns ownership will say it does not talk about individual gun rights.
We need to look at the historical view point.
In the 1790, the wording of "free state" didn't mean the state of New York but a free country a nation free of despotism.
The founding fathers saw an armed citizenry as a hedge against tyranny.
People that own weapons that protect themselves, they protect themselves from tyranny and protection from foreign power. But it doesn't mean that this right is unlimited.
The right of free speech has been narrowed and regulated regulation.
Like severe restrictions on owning a gun would be bad as severe restrictions on free speech.
Maybe you are thinking this understanding of the Second Amendment is outdated today, many want it to change because values are changing in the modern culture.
If people want a change then it can be amended. Two-thirds of Americans believe the Second Amendment secures the right of citizens to own a gun. The government have back this.
The Second Amendment secure the individual rights for guns? It did when it was written, it has been through American History and does today.
We need to go to the root issue. We live in a culture that don't believe in absolute truth. If there is no "hard truth" then what is stopping a student from shooting other students. If there is not absolute truth then you can't tell that student that shooting a school in not wrong. That is the problem, the human heart. How do you stop the human heart to kill people. In Asia, a skilled person with a knife can kill hundreds of people with a knife. The issue is the person killing with the knife and if there is not truth then you can't stop people.

Devil advocate in Seattle

Looking around Seattle playing devil advocate
Remember to check yourself before you wreck yourself
Issues are increasing and trying something

We get  in our comfort zones and never leave
Maybe a little throwback may work
Like going back to JFK ideas in Seattle

What was in schools when there were peace
A long time ago when there were rifle teams
And that said with no school shootings

It is clear that the new agenda not working
Are we going to the paths of Russia and Venezuela?
I certainly don't want to live there

We  forgot about religious freedom
People should not have only on thought in culture
If you don't want to bake a cake then don't

Should we pay people to have our children?
In Japan, a guy having seventeen kids
With no wife and bunch of nannies so becoming an orphanage

Many kids are confused about sexuality
We are made men and women
But we can't mention that any more because of Therapy Ban

Seattle is very not churched
We need the gospel more now
Lord, help me shine and share
