But are we strong enough
Not have anything over Him?

Remember we don't own money
The owner is the Lord
May we have self-control

Should we be consumers?
The world is all over it
But a higher calling for His people

Nothing wrong with having stuff
And enjoy your new boat
But remember the Boss Jesus

The Rock Music of all

The first words, I will love thee, O Lord, my strength, are the scope and contents of the psalm. Those that truly love God, may triumph in him as their Rock and Refuge, and may with confidence call upon him. It is good for us to observe all the circumstances of a mercy which magnify the power of God and his goodness to us in it. David was a praying man, and God was found a prayer-hearing God. If we pray as he did, we shall speed as he did. God's manifestation of his presence is very fully described, ver. 7-15. Little appeared of man, but much of God, in these deliverances. It is not possible to apply to the history of the son of Jesse those awful, majestic, and stupendous words which are used through this description of the Divine manifestation. Every part of so solemn a scene of terrors tells us, a greater than David is here. God will not only deliver his people out of their troubles in due time, but he will bear them up under their troubles in the mean time. Can we meditate on ver. 18, without directing one thought to Gethsemane and Calvary? Can we forget that it was in the hour of Christ's deepest calamity, when Judas betrayed, when his friends forsook, when the multitude derided him, and the smiles of his Father's love were withheld, that the powers of darkness prevented him? The sorrows of death surrounded him, in his distress he prayed, Heb 5:7. God made the earth to shake and tremble, and the rocks to cleave, and brought him out, in his resurrection, because he delighted in him and in his undertaking.

Psalm 18:1-19
 I love you, Lord, my strength.

Let's talk about Thanksgiving, the three words are food, football and oppression? That is what Thanksgiving means to many Americans today.
Seattle Public Schools made a big wave when they said about Thanksgiving, "As a time of mourning and a bitter time of 500 years of betray."
This narrative describes the pilgrims as people that ran-away from being picked on to people that picked on the Indians that lived in the United States at time. That narrative describes the pilgrims depraved the Indians of their lives and land.
This is wrong on every account. Firstly, the pilgrims didn't flea from Europe for religious persecution because they were living in Holland for over 10 years there. Holland was nice to the pilgrims.
The pilgrims adults were afraid that their children would be influenced by the culture of Holland that worshiped materials.
In the year of 1620, they were not running from oppression but they wanted a better culture.
Their mission was for holiness, the idea of fulfilling a fateful mission to build an ideal Christian commonwealth.
They were going to build this commonwealth in 1620 on a island called Manhattan. The issue was the weather so they were blown into a place called Massachusetts.
The pilgrims viewed their voyage as an a demonstrative of Providential Power. They thought this because a scout team on a little boat was picked by a wave and placed on the shore safely.
The land was a great place where no one lived there, a cleared land, a lot of corn and fresh water.
The pilgrims didn't mistreat the Indians but wanted to pay the Indians for the corn that they used but they could not find any Indians to pay.
The Indians there were dying out because of an disease that was killing them before the pilgrims land there.
I will fast forward this history. There were one Indian that was from there and he helped the pilgrims to survive their new place.
The Indian name was called Squanto, he spoke English and he had accepted Jesus in his heart.
He was living at that land before but a heartless Spanish man kidnapped Squanto and took him back to Spain.
He was freed after four years because of monks then he went to England then he went back to his homeland to find that his friend were dead.
Squanto helped the pilgrims get corn and a good trade deal with the most important Indian's chief.
William Bradford called Squanto this, "A special instrument sent of God for their good."
The first Thanksgiving celebration took three days and this was a copy cat of the Jewish feast called the feast of Tabernacle. 
Ninety hungry Indians joined the fifty-three surviving Indians for a feast.
The Englishmen provided corn, fish and turkey. The Indians brought five recently killed deer.
The sport of choice was not football but shooting. The Englishmen and Indians had a love of shooting games.
The pilgrims never built Plymouth as an major colonial. Massachusetts Bay were growing so fast, the people of Plymouth moved to Massachusetts Bay in 1691.
What the pilgrims did was to put this in the mind of the future generation.
They believed the unshakeable confidence that Jesus protected them.
Not to grant special privileges but to impose special responsibility. They saw themselves as instruments and not authors of a mysterious master plan.   
The pilgrims knew that a person can gain more by being thankful instead of guilt.

End all be all

Once lived a man
A bunch of people liked him
He had everything

He was very handsome
So he was giving privileged
So he had many choices

He was very intelligent
He was very good in sports
So praise was heaped on him

He was the star quarterback
He dated the best looking women
He had a perfect GPA

Colleges wanted him
He had a scholarship
He went to Bama

He was a road scholar
He lead his team winning
A four time champion

He was drafted by the NFL
He signed the biggest connect
Great was he

He had women had women hanging of  him
He feel in love with a model
Then he married her

He was given a few kids
He loved children
Blessed his life

But he was missing the big piece
What he trusted was going away
So he awoke with fear

He lost his wife to death
Soon after death to his children
Then he lost his health

A year later on his death bed
Vanity written in his life
He forgotten the Lord

He asked the Lord to saved Him
Jesus heard his prayer
That was great

The moral of the story
It is great to know the Lord
But vanity is life without Him

Look at me, Lord

This Psalm is termed a prayer because the language of petition is predominant. With a just cause, sincerely presented, the writer prays for a just decision and help and protection. Pleading former mercies as a ground of hope, he urges his prayer in view of the malice, pride, rapacity, and selfishness of his foes, whose character is contrasted with his pious devotion and delight in God's favor.

Psalm 17

 Hear me, Lord, my plea is just;
    listen to my cry.
Hear my prayer—
    it does not rise from deceitful lips.
² Let my vindication come from you;
    may your eyes see what is right.

³ Though you probe my heart,
    though you examine me at night and test me,
you will find that I have planned no evil;
    my mouth has not transgressed.
⁴ Though people tried to bribe me,
    I have kept myself from the ways of the violent
    through what your lips have commanded.

    from those of this world whose reward is in this life.
May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies;
    may their children gorge themselves on it,
    and may there be leftovers for their little ones.

Gender Identity: What is the confusion?

It's okay for a man to hit a woman. A mixed-martial club allowed when it allowed Fallon Fox, a biological male, to fight as a woman because he identifies as one.
The consequence of this decision? He fight a woman and he hurt her so bad that she had to go to the ER room. There were major damaged to hurt woman and she said, "I never felt so overpowered before." The interesting thing is that the man that identify as a female knockout a trained woman fighter.
A couple decades ago, if a man hit a woman so hard that she went to the ER, he would have been sent to jail. Today the culture will allow a man to get paid for it. If he says that he is a woman.
The culture will tell students and everyone else that males and females are the same.
This idea has people begin to think that men and women are not born men or women.
The culture will push the idea that they are whatever gender they say are.
Facebook has 50 types of genders to pick from. Here is a quiz? What is a Demi-boy?
I don't know either.
The idea that gender-identification is now a personal sounding choice might sound enlightened to some, but it's actually a very anti-scientific view of the essential fact of life.
Man and woman based on science are different. Their brains are different. Their hormones are different.  Their chromosomes are different. Here is the most obvious one, their bodes are different.
No amount of peer-reviews papers from gender studies can change this.
But this will not stop the progressives elites from the colleges, media, many of the biggest companies down to the high schools and elementary schools.
The result will be this. Women will pay an especially high price. The argument that men and women are the same will hurt women because everything will be based on a man standard or to be more of a woman, she has to be more of a man. She will need the desire to have causal sex like a man.
She will serve in the combat like a man. She will to purse a career like a man as a single-minded towards that career. There are exceptions.  But most women are not seeking or wanting causal sex, don't have the physical strength of men and don't share the priority to work as men do.
It is interesting that now science is telling as that men and women are different.
Your grandma is right when she preached that men and women are different and science confirms that now.
The sad thing that there is no room for science for stores like Target and Toy'R'Us because toys are not in sections of boys and girls but one. Or many school districts can't call the little ones boys or girls but students. There are big movements to make everything co-ed in colleges like the dorms or bathrooms. For the people that struggle with transgenderism, we should not mock them and help them because people are trapped in all types of sin.
The culture will fire you, if you use the wrong pronoun. There is a chance that you will be in court if you use a wrong pronoun. In combat sports, it can lead to woman getting beat up by a man.
Apparently, this is a small price to pay in a world where we must all genuflect to political correctness.
Going back to the woman that got hurt by a man that identify as a woman, she knew that she had to be politically correct. She craved into the fear of the culture and she said, "I can't answer it's because she was born a man because I am not a doctor." Everyone knows the difference from within.
The magazine called Vice Magazine had no heart towards to beaten women because Vice said, "biology sex is not black or white." But in virtually every instance, it is.
The longer we allow the obvious to go unstated and undefended, the worst it will be. For boys and girls and men and women.
The sexes are different. We said marvel at it and enjoy it. Men can learn from women and women can learn from men because of their unique mind sets.
I don't have a mind of a woman and never will but I ask my friends that are women and many times, they will have an amazing view point that as a male, I would never come up with.

Fear of man

Do we have fear of man?
We see a tear and ran away
Because of a Snap that may

The Holy Spirit is true
But you love the praise of people
So you ignore the Lord

I would love to say that

The polls goes against the law of God
But the church remains silent
Pastors are afraid of the truth

Pastors want money and numbers
They have sugar Christianity
Which is pointless so they should quit

Many church goers are shallow
They go to the place
And then forget God's Word

We wonder why the country is fallen
God's people are fearing man
And not the Lord Jesus

Many churches want to be cool
If cool means you deny the Bible
Then that is garbage

Yeah I say it again
Garbage is the word of the day
Not set apart for the Lord

Lord, please wake me
Lord wake up your church
Before it gets worst
