The best psychologist

I heard an joke that I don't know it is true or not but the person joked around that everyone that lives in New York has an psychologist. The person on this podcast was an psychologist and according to this women that New Yorkers know that they are messed up.

This podcast made me think that the life that is portrayed in pop culture will not make an person content. There is an missing piece that many people will not go to so many will go to an psychologist for help (Some people may need psychologist but many people just need to repent from their sins).

There is an need for everyone to know that there is something wrong with them. It is called sin and it will cause separation from God. Jesus died on the cross and arose from the dead.  This is the key for life. When a person truly repents from their sins and follow Jesus, who is the only way to heaven.
A person don't need an psychologist but they can talk to the Maker of the universe.

I had many issues before I accepted Jesus in my life. I knew that there was something wrong with me and that was God convicted me that I had sin. So I repented from my sins and followed Jesus.
I used to wondered who I could talk to. Jesus solved the issues of loneliness and worries.

If I seek after the Lord, then I will be content in life. Life is not always easy but the Lord can and will cause peace in an person's heart. These New Yorkers do not need an psychologist but they need to get right with Jesus. Life is not easy but we have the best psychologist in Jesus.

King David realized the Lord was the best psychologist. David wrote Psalm by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. David knew that he lacked nothing.

Image that you live an busy city and stress to the max but then you take an road to the county.
You lay on the grass by an quiet stream. That person will be calmed. Jesus can calm the soul if a person lays their soul to the Maker. Psalm 23:1-3 says, "The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake.

Psalm 23:4 says, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." There will be moments in life, you will think that life is not fair. There is an chance that your mother just died. At that moment we need to know that Jesus will be with you.

Benson commentary have great insight for Psalm 23:5. Psalm 23:5 says, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over."
Benson said, "Thou preparest a table before me — Thou furnishest me with plenty and variety of provisions and comforts. In the presence of mine enemies — Who seeing, envying, and fretting at it, are not able to hinder it. Thou anointest my head with oil — Or ointment, as the Syriac and Arabic interpreters render it, namely, with aromatic ointments, which were then used in great feasts. The sense is, Thy comforts delight my soul. See Psalm 45My cup runneth over — Thou hast given me a very plentiful portion, signified by the cup given to the guests by the master of the feast. Thus “another set of images, borrowed from a feast, is introduced to give us ideas of those cordials and comforts prepared to cheer and invigorate the fainting soul; while, surrounded by enemies, it is accomplishing its pilgrimage through life; during which time its sorrows and afflictions are alleviated and sweetened by the joys and consolations of the Holy One; by the feast of a good conscience; by the bread of life; the oil of gladness, and the cup of salvation still full and running over.” — Horne.

Psalm 23:6 says, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

I am for the Environment but don't believe in man-made Climate Change

Everything is politics now in the over-done social media world. People and politicians talks about Climate Change and people are afraid. I think that people should abandon the idea of man-made Climate Change and science should abandon the idea but we need to take care of the earth.
Now, you might think that I have gone crazy.

We as an society should not hold on to ideas that are not factual. We should make policy based on good science but at the same time, we need to take care of the earth.

I will break this down for you and many of you will think that I have lost my mind. I am coming from my view point.

Climate Change is an huge topic and many people have made their mind up based on only hearing one side of the story. I have research this topic and this is what I believe.

I will talk about the first idea. Is the earth getting warmer? Sort of there was an warming trend that existed in much of 20 century. The warming trend stop in 1998. Many politicians and activists claim
that CO2 causes global warming.

Research shows that the raise of CO2 happened after the earth temperature started raising. This shows man-made or not, do not caused the warming after all.

Two major changes in the climate has changed over the last thousands years. The Medieval Warm Period in 1250 and the Little Ice Age in 1650. And this was before the Industrial Revolution in 1800.
This means the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age happened before the Industrial Revolution.

For me, it seems that Climate Change happens naturally. Climate physics links fluxing solar outputs to earth temperature.

Should responsible people blame themselves for Climate Change. Science has not ruled out man can play a very small part of the problem but factors beyond man drives to most to all Climate Change.
But it does matter that we take care of earth.

In my thought, we should take care of the environment not because our failures may destroy the earth but God has placed man on earth. We need to take care of the creation.

Again, I think that we should make things more  recyclable and not throw away as much garbage as we do now. We need care for the planet like the Lord take care of us. But the CO2 idea in popular culture is not good science.

As an Christian, I am being respectful to you and nice. We need to enjoy God and the things that God has made. Romans 1:20 says, "through the things that have been made."

I will claim this verse for my life and honor the Lord over the earth so I will be wise in my living.
We need not put oil down the drain, not throw away as much garbage, and many more things.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
