We trust in our strength
The resolutions will not complete
The human will can do some
But can't finish the race
Ending in sorrow and pain
Peter thought he was the captain
He wanted to honor the Lord
But trusted in own power
Jesus called him out
But Peter renounced
Peter had to check his ego
I can feel Peter
He had good intentions
But his will was weak
A slave girl scared the great apostle
The ant trips my walk in this this
Don't trust in own wisdom
Peter purpose the next day for Jesus
We are all work in progress
Make the next year shine
Add the Lord in the details
Call on the name of Jesus
You can ride on the waves
