Send the troops

The commander sent out his troops
The flood of pain was evident
Only God could really heal

Jesus commanded his twelve disciples
Two by two in the towns
With very little in their bags

Required faith in God
Not in money and houses
They displayed  their faith

God had called every believer
The follower needs trust
But in what faith

Shouldn't trust in houses
Or in our jobs
But only in the Lord

Faith is the key
Miracles can occur
But many Christians are full of self

Help me Lord
To deny myself
And lay my life for You

No trust in the bank account
No security in my possessions
But You are  the end all be all
